As time is running out on the disaster that is Brexit, the tories seem intent on driving the UK at full steam into the buffers without a deal. He found more sympathy for his remarks in Scotland.
Glasgow City Council has signed off on its equal pay deal meaning women will get backdated pay. This ongoing situation, inherited from the previous Labour administration in Glasgow has finally been sorted, financed by the Council is re-mortgaging some of its most iconic buildings.

Generations remember it for being a cinema or the music venue it was latterly. Could a new music venue rise like a phoenix from the ashes?
Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon has been in the USA and Canada this week, to promote trade and cultural links. Both the diplomacy and trade will be very important as we stare down the barrel of the Brexit gun.
There was another Union getting in a state this week, as Donald Trump delivered his second State of the Union address to the sarcastic applause of Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
